Abstract Structure

Every abstract must be prepared under the following headings, in this order:

Content Specifications

Applies to both Paper and Poster abstract submissions.

Body text ≤ 500 words, excluding title
Title ≤ 40 words, concise
Written in clear, concise English
Proofread — no spelling or grammatical errors
No images, graphs, tables, references, or illustrations in text
Generic drug/equipment names only — no brand names
Uncommon abbreviations spelled out at first mention
Numerals for numbers, except at a sentence’s start

Paper Presentation

Maximum 6 PowerPoint slides, set in Times New Roman, 20 pt, with no more than 12–14 lines of content per slide.

Poster Presentation

Format

  • One self-explanatory, landscape-format poster
  • Clear, readable font — legible from a distance
  • Neat, professional layout throughout

  • Include images, tables, graphs, or illustrations where relevant
  • Minimal text, high-quality visuals
  • Design for at-a-glance comprehension

Submission Specifications

  • Authors select one Conference Track — Fertility or Maternity
  • Authors select one Presentation Category — Paper or Poster
  • Abstracts may cover any scientific topic relevant to the chosen track
  • Multiple abstracts allowed, but only one per presentation category will be accepted
  • Conference registration is mandatory before submission
  • Submit only through the official FOGCE Abstract Submission Portal
  • Abstracts sent by email or after the deadline will not be accepted

Responsibilities of the Author

  • Work must be original and free from plagiarism
  • Must not have been previously published or presented at any State, National, or International meeting
  • Scientific statements must be evidence-based and free from personal criticism
  • Use generic names only for drugs and medical devices

Presenting Author

  • Must be a registered delegate of FOGCE 2026
  • Registration is mandatory before abstract submission
  • Receives all correspondence on review, acceptance, and presentation
  • Any change of presenting author after submission requires Scientific Committee approval

Abstract Review Process

All abstracts undergo blinded peer review by the Scientific Committee, assessed on:

Scientific originality Clinical relevance Methodology Quality of data Scientific merit Format adherence

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any abstract, allocate it to Paper or Poster presentation, and decide the final presentation schedule. Authors of accepted abstracts are notified by email.

Grounds for Rejection

Automatic disqualification
  • Work already published or accepted for publication elsewhere
  • Previously presented at any State, National, or International meeting
  • Incomplete abstract
  • Non-compliance with conference guidelines
  • Plagiarism detected
  • Scientific quality deemed inadequate by the Committee
